Joseph S. Lee, D.M.D., P.S.
Dr. Lee's passion for dentistry came from his own experience as a patient. As a young child, while playing with some friends, he had an accident which resulted in trauma to his mouth. Later in life, as he started at the University of Washington, he visited what felt like at the time every dentist in the Seattle area to restore his mouth. Undergoing numerous treatments from othodontics to dental implant to gum surgery, this experience allowed him to meet great professionals who guided him to becoming a dentist.
'The experience and wonderful relationships I developed as a patient with my dentists is one I strive to achieve with my own patients,' says Dr. Lee. Understanding the anxiousness many patients feel coming to see their dentist, Dr. Lee believes in open communication and understanding what his patients needs are. He states, 'The best way to ensure I help my patients achieve their goals in oral health is to make sure they feel comfortable with me.'
After graduating from the University of Washington, he continued his education at Temple University in Philadelphia. Although he grew to develop a strong bond and an appreciation for living in the east coast, the pull of his family and friends in the northwest drew him back to the Seattle area.
When he is not working, Dr. Lee enjoys golfing, barbequing, snowboarding and spending time with the new addition to his family, his dog, Teo.
